Grading Policy and Test
Students will receive points for various classwork/homework assignments throughout the 9 weeks and will have online assignments occasionally. If your child does not have internet access at home, please let me know BEFORE the assignment is due so arrangements can be made.

Any time a student does not turn in an assignment, a zero will be entered in the computer until the assignment has been turned in. Please keep in mind that students only have 3 days following an absence to get their assignments completed and turned in. Cheating and Plagiarism Will Not Be Tolerated!

Parent Communication
Students are responsible for writing down their homework assignments for each class. This is one way we reinforce responsibility. At the beginning of the year, I remind students to do this daily in order to develop a habit. Later on, it is up to them to remember to write it down. Homework will always be listed on the board.

Grades can be viewed online by using the password issued from the front office. Report Cards are also issued at the end of each grading period as well as Progress Reports in the middle of the 9 weeks. Progress Reports and Report Cards MUST be signed and returned to the teacher. The easiest way to communicate with me regularly is by e-mail.

Thank you,
