Governor Ivey has announced that our schools will not reopen as planned. We will instead move to a nontraditional method of instruction. This will be virtual learning in some cases and paper-oriented in others. Regardless of the method, learning will continue! We will all rise to this new challenge collectively and ensure that we continue to educate our students. More information will be forthcoming.

On August 9, 2019, Mr.Nickels' students were placed in their "House" for the year. Students spun a wheel that randomly sorted them into their appropriate houses. The houses are "The Challengers", "The Conquerors", "The Diplomats", and "The Influencers". Each student will represent their house and earn house points each nine weeks. The house with the most house points each 9 weeks will be rewarded. The intent of this is to teach Mr. Ron Clark's "55 Essential" life skills. Students will be held responsible for their actions and behavior, and in doing so, will promote a more healthy, respectful and responsible environment.
