RMS Students Visit the Nina and the Pinta

Eighth grade students from Mrs. Johnson and Mr. Fowler's classes went to Guntersville, AL to see the replica Nina and Pinta ships. Thank you, Sandy Woodard, for taking the pictures of this adventure.

On August 9, 2019, Mr.Nickels' students were placed in their "House" for the year. Students spun a wheel that randomly sorted them into their appropriate houses. The houses are "The Challengers", "The Conquerors", "The Diplomats", and "The Influencers". Each student will represent their house and earn house points each nine weeks. The house with the most house points each 9 weeks will be rewarded. The intent of this is to teach Mr. Ron Clark's "55 Essential" life skills. Students will be held responsible for their actions and behavior, and in doing so, will promote a more healthy, respectful and responsible environment.
